In recent times, the celebration of attacks on CPEC projects and Chinese workers by militant groups, citing them as ‘aggressors’, depicts the destructive intent of various terrorist outfits. These attacks aim not only to halt Pakistan’s development but also to defame the nation on regional and international platforms. Through these attacks, these militants, who have contributed nothing to Pakistan’s progress, and are only engaged in bombings and destruction, reveal their insincerity towards the Pakistani people. Their opposition to development projects in Balochistan, which are considered to be game changers for local employment and progress, exposes their desire to keep these regions in perpetual darkness. Supported by enemy states, these terrorists demonstrate their disloyalty and hostility towards Pakistan. Their indiscriminate attacks on civilian infrastructure show their intent to push the country further into backwardness.

Driven by senseless violence, terrorist groups like Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan even target those who are notable members of peace committees, defying the Islamic principles of peace-making. Their indiscriminate bomb blasts victimize innocent children. What justification can these terrorists offer for harming children while claiming to protect religion and impose Shariah? Their actions starkly reveal their monstrosity and hypocrisy. Their attacks on Punjabi labourers are inhumane, violating both ‘Islamic and Pakistani values. Similarly, the extremist rhetoric and threats from these militant groups against minorities contravene Islamic teachings and Pakistan’s Constitution.

These terrorists also oppose democracy and the rule of law, preferring their own authoritarian rule to silence any opposition to their inhumane acts. They extort money from local vendors and small business owners, who already face financial issues, showing their true nature as hypocritical criminals. They expose their moral bankruptcy by resorting to theft, plundering and extortion and boasting about it while knowing about its prohibition as articulated in the Quran: “And do not consume one another’s wealth unjustly or send it (in bribery) to the rulers in order that (they might aid) you (to) consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know (it is unlawful) (Al-Baqarah: 188). Their self-proclaimed religious authority is exposed when they threaten and kill Ulemas who speak against their atrocities. Abu Darda reported: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The scholars (Ulemas) are the inheritors of the Prophets. The Prophets do not leave behind dinars or dirhams, but only knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion.” (Sunan Abi Dawood-3641) The heinous acts of groups like Tehrik-i- Taliban Pakistan and Daesh-Khorasan against Ulemas show their blatant disregard for Islamic teachings on the sanctity of life and respect for religious leaders.

These terrorists threaten journalists who dare to expose their brutalities, showing their fear of being held accountable. They spread lies and propaganda through fake reports, revealing their reliance on deceit to further their nefarious goals. The actions of these terrorists are not only criminal but also against the fundamental principles of Islam. Similarly, the infighting among terrorist organizations shows their true aim is not serving any Islamic interests but self-serving agendas. Their conflicts reveal that their so-called jihad against security forces is merely a competitive business project for them.

To conclude, it is evident that these groups are nothing but a bunch of criminals, thugs and murderers, violating the honour and values of our nation and religion. It is time to expose their hypocrisy and unite against their destructive agenda and propaganda to ensure peace and progress in our country.
